What happens when we put a bunch of different coffees on one table and taste our way through them together?
Join Cracker Jack at Kepen Café for a guided cupping session where we smell, break the crust, slurp, taste again – and discover what makes each coffee unique and completely different from the cup next to it. No professional tasting experience needed, just a little curiosity. And by the end, you might even find yourself picking out notes of peach, chocolate or something a little funky.
We’ll start by smelling the freshly ground coffees before adding hot water. After a few minutes, we’ll break the crust that forms on top and focus on the aromas once again. Then comes the fun part: tasting each coffee with a cupping spoon and paying attention to acidity, sweetness, body, clarity, finish and individual flavour notes.
As the coffees cool, their flavours continue to change, so we’ll return to the same cups several times and see what else we can discover.
The real magic of cupping is in the comparison. Rather than simply deciding whether a coffee is “good” or “bad”, we’ll explore what makes each one different and how origin, variety, processing and roasting shape what ends up in the cup.
At the end, we’ll compare notes and impressions together – part professional tasting, part shared coffee discovery.

A regisztráció lemondható, így a helyed felszabadulhat egy várólistán lévő résztvevő számára, azonban a regisztrációs díj a résztvevő általi lemondás vagy távolmaradás esetén nem visszatéríthető. Amennyiben a program a szervező részéről kerül lemondásra, a regisztrációs díjat visszatérítjük.
